Long ago, an incredible race of beings inhabited Pensia, riding on the backs of magnificent flying dragons. They had mastered the ways of the land, and amid the dense forests, vast deserts and freezing tundras, their cities could be found. This race had lived on Pensia for thousands of years, honing their resources and even taming the mighty dragon. However, their time was up. Thousands of years even before this ancient race, a mortal man struck a deal with the goddess of time: in this deal, his race would be reborn in a new world far from the one he lived on now, which was nearly dead. There, they would live and grow for a millenium, harnessing Pensia and becoming the top species; but at the end of that vast array of years, time would finally claim the race once and for all. Little did the goddess know, she had been tricked; humans were cunning creatures, and had found a way to get around this extinction.
5,000 years after the race disappeared off of Pensia, they began to show up once again, slowly but surely. Disgusted, the goddess demanded that her deal be redeemed and that the entire planet of Pensia go with the mortal beings in a blazing eternal flame. This was when the god of wisdom stepped in. He was more merciful than his sister, and suggested that they not only confiscate the dragons whom had lead the humans to glory (and other things) in the first place, but also divide their souls into two, so that they might experience the same emotion she had felt when she'd been tricked. And so, dragons disappeared from the face of Pensia, the Slovak taking their place as the second half of a person's soul.
Despite this bargain, the goddess still holds a sort of hatred for humans. She has found a way to slowly erode the Pensian race so that time can reclaim their existence.
The ruins that scatter the Pensian land masses are what is left of the ancient magnificent cities. Creatures from millions of years ago roam them, seemingly unchanged. It is said that deep within these dungeons are incredible secrets waiting to be revealed to the one that makes it to them. So far however, no one has made it back alive.
In accordance to past events, there are 7 days in a week on Pensia. Ricevit, Kosevit, Lonevit, Widesday, Turnsvit, Jilvit, Laer.
